2014 American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster FSR Firemist Silver w/ Mastery Bridge and SD Antiquity I pickups This AV65 Jazzmaster has a rather rare Firemist Silver finish. The FSR production run for this colour (issued in 2014) was initially announced for 150 Jazzmasters but it allegedly ended prematurely after only about 50 Jazzmasters were produced. Either way it's a rare finish for an AV65 Jazzmaster. This guitar has seen plenty of stage use and it carries some slight scars from it. There are some dings and scratches mainly around the edges of the body. The finish on the back of the neck was removed which feels very comfortable to play. The frets are in great condition and the guitar plays great with .011 strings. This guitar was upgraded by the previous owner with Seymour Duncan Antiquity I pickups and a Mastery bridge. Compared to the stock bridge (which is included) and pickups these upgrades offer a considerably deeper and fuller sound with stronger lows and mids, more akin to a pre-CBS vintage Jazzmaster. The original case, bridge and case candy are included with the sale.
