Fender / BROWN TOLEX CASE / 1959 / Guitar
A very rare original hardshell case in brown tolex for Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster. It's the brown's early version, which was used from 1959 to 1961, the one that came immediately after the tweed. It differs from the one used from '61 to '63 for the position of the central latch, which is placed between the two ‘feet’ of the leather-covered handle, and for the yellow-orange lining. The later '61-'63 brown has the middle latch next to the handle and a red-colored lining. This case is completely original and in exceptionally fine conditions. All the hinges and latches are working fine, the handle is solid, there are no heavily worn areas. A perfect match for your precious vintage Fender!
