Fender / Bullet / 1982 / White / Guitar For Sale
Designed by John Page, The Fender Bullet and Bullet Deluxe were intended to replace the Mustang as an entry level guitar. They were designed for ease of manufacture with the Bullet’s pickguard and bridge being combined along with all the electronics. The name and logo came from John hearing the phrase ‘no 1 with a bullet’ touted on the radio. This was the origin of the logo.
The guitar is in great condition. The body shows the odd minor knock and scratch but nothing too substantial. The color too hasn’t faded too much either as you can see when the pickguar id removed.
The neck too is in great shape showing very little wear. The original frets have plenty of luef left in them and the fretboard is in excellent shape.
The combination bridge pickguard is in good condition with only some slight chipping to the finish. The saddles show som minor corrosion.
Electrically everything is correct with pots showing week 26 of 1982.
The guitar comes with its correct molded plastic hardshell case.
Certainly of its time, this guitar has a lot to offer tonally. Both pickups offering a wide variety of sounds and generally the guitar has that classic Fender feel.
Something a little different or filling in a space in the collection, this Bullet has a lot to offer. Grab it before it gets away…
