The solid body electric guitar <strong>FENDER Custom Shop 1958 Stratocaster Closet Classic (9237001330*R113828)</strong> is distinguished in particular by a "sort for weight" Alder body (selected weight), a neck with Maple fingerboard in '57 Soft V profile (7.25" radius), and a trio of hand-wired microphones (Custom Shop Fat '50s, '57, Texas Special).

The Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster are timeless, referential. They are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having largely contributed to its expansion and democratization.
The ideal would be to be the happy owner of an original copy from the 50s or 60s, but the rating of vintage copies is so high that it is difficult for everyone to have access to one.
Concerning the Relic finish : The dealers present at the 1995 NAMM were totally amazed by the level of realism of the first two Relic models that Fender presented to them that year. Most took them for authentic original Fenders (they were a ’51 Nocaster and a ’56 Mary Kaye Stratocaster).
The Fender "relic" process is now completely ingrained and constitutes the majority of Custom Shop sales.
