The solid body electric guitar <strong>FENDER Custom Shop 1964 Stratocaster Relic (9237001331*R114936)</strong> is distinguished in particular by a two-piece "sort for lightweight" Alder body, a AAA Rosewood fingerboard with a '59 Esquire C profile and 9.5" radius, and a trio of '64 hand-wired pickups.

The Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster are timeless, benchmarks. They are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having greatly contributed to its expansion and democratization.
The ideal would be to be the happy owner of an original copy from the 50s or 60s, but the price of vintage copies is so high that it is difficult for everyone to have access to one.
Concerning the Relic finish: the dealers present at NAMM 1995 were totally amazed by the level of realism of the first two Relic models that Fender presented to them that year. Most took them for authentic original Fenders (they were a '51 Nocaster and a '56 Mary Kaye Stratocaster).
The Fender "relic" process is now completely ingrained in the culture and constitutes the majority of Custom Shop sales.
