Fender / Custom Guitar / 1969 / Sunburst / Guitar

This is one of the most unusual guitars released from the Fender Factory & are near impossible to find today, its 3-tone Sunburst finish has faded quite nicely into a 2 ½ tone having an all black back to its body (notice the filled in area under the finish on the back from its 12-string-thru body cavity), made from many different leftover guitar parts from off the shelves including a cut down modified 12-string body & a neck now wearing only 6 tuners, its top of the line bound fingerboard has pearl block inlays like a Jazzmaster, its groovie Tortoise’shell pickgard has 2 sets of Mustang pickups & a very versatile 4 way varitone unit, lastly it has a Mustang Vibrato unit w/matching tremolo bar, it is excellent overall condition, its pair of original pots dated the 17th week of 1966 were removed & replaced, but come inside its original black tolex hard case.
