Fender / Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster (#R16317) / 1950's / Journeyman Relic Melon Candy / Guitar For Sale
This Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1952 Telecaster is an attractive reinterprétation of the original Telecaster. It's impossible not to fall under the charm of its "Melon Candy Journeyman Relic" finish.
Like all every Custom Shop models, it was made out of the most noble tonewoods : selected two pieces Ash body, quarter-sawn Maple neck and fretboard. The neck profile is a traditional "'52 Style U" distinctive of vintage Tele but its compound vintage/modern radius (7,25/9,5") undoubtedly offers more playing comfort. The 21 frets are narrow-tall / 6105.
Hand-wound pickups are a Fender Custom Shop Hot Tele (aimants AlNiCo 5) and a '51 Nocaster (AlNiCo 3). This duet is able to produce warm and expressive genuine sounds, as well as more biting and cutting ones.
