It's great to find a new production Telecaster that's so light and killer sounding as this. THIS is a Telecaster! With a nice sparkly tone, it's fit for practically any style. Yes, only 6lbs 10.7 oz, and it DOES resonate beautifully.
The body has been nicely relic'd, very subtle (no heavy beat-up stuff on this one), not overdone at all. Amazing checking on all the finish!
The 'Custom '63 pickups have a great vintage Tele sound (and are not retailed separately), and are considered to be among the best the Custom Shop has ever made. It does feature vintage wiring, so the neck pickup alone has little use (but can be easily activated by disconnecting the circuit's capacitor). Combining both pickups offers a great warm and very rich tone, so the original wiring remains untouched.
In a like-new condition (played only for a few hours), with the accessory bag unopened. This is a great chance to get your hands on a fantastic, lightweight, killer-sounding Tele!
