Fender Custom / Shop Flash Coat 60s Stratocaster 3 Tone Sunburst / Guitar

Fender Custom Shop Flash Coat 60s Stratocaster in 3 Tone Sunburst. The 60s strat in all its different apparitions speaks to the imagination of many a guitar player worldwide. This eventful decennium brought many changes to the Fender brand and products, resulting in some very interesting and legendary variations on the Stratocaster theme. This Custom Shop Stratocaster harkens back to the early sixties when the clay dot position markers, 3-ply pickguard and a thick slab rosewood fingerboard were still "the talk of the town" and large headstocks and 3-bolt adjustable necks might have seemed part of a somewhat dystopian future. This was the era in which the Stratocaster had taken on its ultimate form, in between the youthful enthousiasm and imperfections of its past and shortly before all the "innovations" that lay ahead. This guitar will give you all that you could wish for in an early 60s Stratocaster only for just a fraction of the price one would pay these days for an original. One of it's most noteworthy features is the Journeyman finish which has been applied using the Flash Coat technique. This wafer-thin finish gives this instrument a rather pleasant look and feel matching perfectly with the vintage-vibe the Custom Shop aims for. The sound department has been well taken care of with two Handwired Fat 60s Single Coils in the Neck and Middle position and a Handwired Texas Special in the bridge. Included with this guitar is a Custom Shop hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and case candy. The Custom Shop is home to Fender’s most skilled and talented builders. It’s a bustling, noisy and creatively volcanic place that re-earns its nickname—the Dream Factory—every day. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
