Fender / Custom Telecaster / 1967 / Sunburst / Guitar

Superb transitional logo and very rare Telecaster Custom in sunburst with that classic bound body is a very nice  guitar to own, especially one that seems to defy gravity like this one does...

Some mid 60's Teles are super lightweight and these are quite special guitars when you come across one. This is one such guitar and with a weight of just 3.3 Kg you will bearly notice it.

Original finish on both body and neck, original frets with some wear but still playable. Guitar came to me with Duncans fitted but there are now two original mid sixties, correct, grey bottom pickups. At some stage a pickup was installed in the neck route that necessitated enlarging it by a few mm (see pictures).

All hardware is original including the superb pickguard and now the pickups are correct this makes it a superb playing and sounding transitional Tele Custom.

Pots date to 1966, neck date of Oct '67 and 1967 serial number complete this rare and super light and tasty Tele...
