The Reverb amplifiers that Fender was producing from 1964 to 1967 became an industry standard for electric guitar tone at their introduction. The Deluxe Reverb is the most popular of the line with its manageable ~22 watt output and 12″ speaker. The Reverb and Tremolo that this amp features has become the benchmark by which many other amp builders have based their circuit and tonal apsirations. This versatile amplifier has been used from Funk to Country and everywhere in between.

This 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb-Amp has be been lightly used and professionally maintained throughout its lifetime. The tolex, face plate and grille cloth show very minimal wear and are free of large imperfections. The transformers and speaker are original to this amp and do not show the typical signs of age or fatigue. The only changes or repairs that were made to this amp are new electrolytic capacitors, a few new resistors that had drifted out of spec and a new on/off switch. The foot switch is also a modern replacement. The unit is now back in to perfect performance ready condition and still retains all the proper collectibility of the important parts like the speaker and transformers. The amp has been fitted with NOS American made tubes including Sylvania 6V6s and rectifier, some original RCA preamp tubes and some replaced Telefunken 12AX7 preamp tubes.

The blackface era Fender Deluxe Reverb-Amp is one of those pieces that every vintage inspired studio should have in their arsenal. This amp has been properly maintained so that it will be ready to play when you are. Original transformers and speaker in a vintage amp means that it hasn’t been abused or improperly treated throughout it’s lifetime.
