This is a pretty cool 2000 Fender US Double Fat Stratocaster w/a pair of white original Seymour Duncan pickups. Its Candy Apple Red finish just pops. Its rosewood neck feels great. This is the first year for the Double Fat Strat and it is the replacement for the Big Apple model. The changes include staggered post heights, elimination of one string tree, and smoother body lines/vintage head shape. The American Series Double Fat Strat was the direct successor to the Big Apple, same pickups – SD Pearly Gates Plus in the bridge and a SD Custom 59 in the neck position. The pickup selector is 5-way. Overall she’s near mint & ready to enjoy. Comes in a nice molded hard case.
