Now available on consignment, an original 1959 Fender Duo-Sonic in its original Desert Sand finish!
This particular example has been played showing plenty of fade and wear on the body, as well as on the neck. It has the 22.5" scale length with a well worn medium C shape neck.
The guitar retains all of its original hardware, and all plastics including the thick 1ply pickguard and brown pickup covers. The original black bobbin pickups are untouched, with both pots date to the 16th week of '59, and the 25th week of '58. There is an added ground wire to the pots, otherwise the wiring harness remains original as do all other parts.
Typical of 1959 this example has no neck date. The original frets are worn, however the guitar still plays well.
