This is a very nice original 1965 Fender Electric XII 12 string classic guitar 1st year of production and 100% original in excellent condition and sounds superb.
Everything is 100% original, all solder joints are intact. All finish is straight, no touch ups etc and no breaks, repairs or routes, just some dings here and there and some edge wear which is what you would expect on a guitar this age. Frets are medium sized and there is no evidence it has been re-fretted so I think this is how it came from the factory, certainly by 1964 Fender were offering larger frets as a factory fitted option.
It plays very well and has the classic sound that you have heard on many famous recordings - it also looks really cool too!
It has a period correct case which I think is a Jazz or Precision bass case so is probably not original to this guitar. The serial number is 109421, all pots date to 30th week of 1965 and neck date is November 1965.
This is a very nice example that plays well and sounds classic. Nice price too :-)
