A simply superb Telecaster from Fenders Custom Shop in 2018. A 1954 reissue, very light in weight with an amazing amount of natural resonance and life to it. It’s one of those Teles that almost feels like it’s hollow when you pick it up. Plug it in and it just sounds amazing. One of the best Tele’s we have seen. This lovely example has a heavy relic finish on the neck and quite a lot of very authentic looking relic on the body too. The standard of finish on these more recent Fender Custom shop guitars really does seem to be a good notch up compared to earlier examples. The fret ends and rolled fret board edges have just been done so well. The result is a guitar that feels like a real piece of 50s history, only with the modern feel of larger frets and the comfy 9.5 radius board. We simply love this Tele. Coffee House guitars is a new (for 2019) boutique guitar shop selling only used, high end American and Japanese guitars from the well known brands. The shop is owned and run by Julian Deverell who has been playing, buying, collecting and selling guitars for 25 years. The shop is based in the warehouse of The Regency Chess Company, a niche chess set business that Julian also owns.
The aim is to make available a good selection of lovely guitars that have been expertly set up and are at their optimum, frets dressed, polished and ready to rock! The shop is in a custom built coffee shop (hence the name) that serves only the worlds best speciality coffee. We may not be the worlds best guitar shop, but we certainly serve the best coffee you’ll find in any guitar shop in the world! We are a ‘by appointment’ business so please get in touch prior to visiting. We can ship all over Europe using either UPS or DPD tracked and insured couriers.
