The even more exceptional aspect of this rare Fender Custom Shop Playboy 40th Anniversary Strat is to have been kept new by the former Swiss distribution of Fender for 26 years … This guitar has never been sold, and is offered for sale for the first time. A real New Old Stock, with all the accessories, all the documents and especially the original shipping box. Extremely rare therefore as new condition, never sold, probably not even exhibited in the Swiss distribution's building. During the transfer of Fender distribution in 2002 and so that the brand does not search the entire Fender stock which was then in Switzerland, this instrument was taken out of the lists and hidden.
