Fender / Jaguar / 1965 / Sunburst / Guitar
We're happy to present this gorgeous "L-Series" 1965 Fender Jaguar, 99% original and beatifully-sounding. Very resonant, with a nicely figured Brazilian rosewood fretboard and in collector's condition!
This is one of Fender's 60's "experiments", with somewhat "complex" controls, but actually pretty simple: two modes, "rythm" and "lead". "Rythm" mode activates neck pickup only, and volume / tone can be activated through two independent controls. "Lead" mode is the standard invidual pickup selection mode, with master tone & volume controls. It also has the "strangle" switch, which is basically a high-pass filter that gives you that "twangy" feel.
Clear "Aug 65" neck stamp, as equally clear mid '65 pot codes. L Series Backplate and original hard case. Tremolo arm is missing, and the bridge is not original. That's it. The rest is entirely original, including of course the finish (which has been blacklit).
The guitar does have some dings & scratches here and there, VERY minor, and the guitar is in sensational condition, ready to satisfy demanding musicians and collectors alike. Original frets are in great condition, too. Good weight of 7 lb 15oz (3610gr) and extremely resonant.

Guitar Giraffe, Spain
In the last few years, online sale for musical instruments has experienced an amazing growth, but has passed right through the pre-owned market (that is, in Spain), limiting it to specialised forums and private owners. This is why Guitar Giraffe was born, the first physical and online second hand guitar and amp store (we like to call it "pre-owned", since we see a big difference between both terms), with a clear commitment of giving new options to guitarists locally and worldwide. Pre-owned guitar stores, so common in UK and USA, were practically nonexistent in Spain. We’ve wanted to fill that empty space by becoming the first physical and online store in our country focused on pre-owned guitars and amps.
