Fender Japan / JB62-115 "JV Serial"
In the spring of 1982, Fender JAPAN, officially launched, announced the first lineup "Vintage Series"
It is composed of 6 types and 14 models for both guitars and basses, and the bass is the '57-year-old pre-based base PB57-95 and 70, '62-year-old pre-specification base PB62-98 and 75, and '62 jazz. It will be the base of the base JB62-115 and 75.
The top PB57-95, PB62-98, and JB62-115 use fender USA parts (pickups, pickguards, controls), and have lacquer finished.
The early product is engraved with "JV" on the head of the serial number, and is called "JV Serial" by Japan Fan.
Except for the end of the JV, it is characteristic that "Made in Japan" is included at the bottom of the head Fender Logo Dekal.
This aircraft is JB62-115 made in 1983
The front pickup on the royal road jazz bass specifications is equipped with a graybobin with a stamp of 1981, and the rear is a red bobbin pickup with a stamp of 1983.
The tendency of the sound is not a jazz -based impression in recent years, but features a line thickness and loafi output that feels an old jazz base.
The neck and electrical system have already been adjusted by our repairman and good
The neck is straight, and the string height is set to 1.6mm on 12F.
It is one that can get a glimpse of the seriousness of Japanese fenders.
