Fender / Jazz Bass / 1960 / 2 Tone Sunburst / Bass

Ladies & gentlemen...this is the ultimate find of a lifetime, this is the best example of a 1st year Jazz Bass that exists!, this gorgeous 2-Tone Sunburst finished Stack Knob bass was purchased in 1960, it belonged from new by a fellow named James Thomas Ross from Inman, South Carolina, it appears to have been a 2 1/2 tone 'burst having the red almost disappear, it's slab neck is dated 8/60, it's pot codes are from the 25th week of 1960, it's red tortoise'gard is near perfect, it's from the very 1st few months of the Jazz Basses introduction, it is near mint & 100% original down to it's original brown gig bag, hang tags, all 4 mutes & hardware as well as it's original small screw hole pickup & bridge covers, this is museum quality & the best one on Earth !
