This is an all original & final production of the Pre-CBS Jazz Basses in a Custom Color in untouched original condition, it has its original Olympic White finish over an Alder body w/a matching Headstock, these Jazz Basses are ridiculously rare, its “Unbound” Rosewood early pearl Dot neck is super slim & she has a stamped neck date of December 1964 making it 1 of the very last of the Leo Fender made instruments, its original Tortoiseshell Nitro pickgard has that luscious color used only in 1960-4, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jaco” sound !, its pot date codes are from the 40th week of 1964, its all original in all respects & still retains its bridge & pickup covers along with every single screw from new, she has a gorgeous patina for a 57 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, other than having a few chippies & being only slightly faded, she’s a real stunner, right at 9 lbs. w/covers on, 1 of the best & most desirable examples on Earth, comes complete w/her original serial #’d Hang Tag Manual in its original Black Tolex Hard Case.
