This is pretty rare and very nice too. An original 1969 Fender Jazz Bass in custom colour Olympic White with the rare matching headstock and original case.
All original finish, no touch ups no overspray in very fine shape with just a few dings here and there. Nitro clear coat has yellowed a bot but no too much and there is some fine checking all over which looks pretty cool. All electrics are original with some brilliant and growling, grey bottom pickups. All solder intact and pots date to 1966.
All hardware is original too except the covers which are aged re-issues but do look reasonably authentic in a dirty sort of way...
Original case is also in fine shape, bass is light and is a real joy to play with a huge variety of sounds as you would expect from a decent Jazz Bass. Action is low and there is no warping or neck issues at all. Minimal fret wear and no divots on nice smooth fingerboard.
Rare to find an original 50's Jazz Bass in white and even rarer to find one with a matching headstock. Trades for guitars with 6 strings are welcome.
