Just in is another incredible 1974 Jazz Bass w/all the right features in exceptionally clean shape, its has an original Sunburst finish that’s super clean from the front, the back has a few flakes of finish missing & some slight melting of the lacquer from a strap pressed under it for decades all over an Alder body, its the last of the cool 4-Bolt White Bound Maple Necks that is also very clean, its dated w/Fenders funky ink stamping to late ’73 or ’74, its rare & original last of the Tortoise pickgards pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s best & last period “Geddy Lee” type Jazzes, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound !, its pot codes date to the 29th & 38th weeks of 1974, its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge, it has a groovy patina for a nearly 48 year old original, it plays & feels excellent, she’s truly excellent having killer sustain & tone qualities & she comes w/her original Black Hard Case.
