This is the cleanest ultimate original & earliest production Pre-CBS "Stacked Pot” Jazz Bass w/all the 1st issue features in exceptionally clean shape, its has an original Red/Brown 2 1/2-tone Sunburst finish over a lightweight Alder body, these "brown'burst" early Jazz's are super rare !, its "Unbound" Rosewood Clay Dot neck has an all in one logo w/the "counter body" portion inclusive & has a penciled neck date of 9/60, its original Tortoise-shell Nitro pickgard has that light "pepperoni" color used in 1960-1, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound !, its stacked pot codes date to the 25th week of 1960, its so cool from its nickel tuners to its threaded saddle bridge w/outside ground wire in place, its all original in all respects & still retains its bridge & pickup covers & every single screw from new, even a set of original "String Mutes", this is from Leo's earliest Jazz Bass days & has a gorgeous patina for a 59 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, other than having a few dings & slight checking, she's still a solid 9+ shape, 1 of the best & most desirable examples on Earth, comes complete w/some case candy, strap, cord & brochures in her original Brown Tolex Hard Case
