Fender / Jazzmaster / 1963 / Fiesta Red / Guitar
Super rare (only the second we have seen) original fiesta red 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in beautiful condition...
This 1963 Fender Jazzmaster features a rare factory-applied Fiesta Red finish over Sunburst, an uncommon configuration that is noteworthy among models from this year. With a careful refret by Holger Notzel, this guitar offers both unique aesthetics and excellent playability.
The guitar has been refretted cleanly, with a straight neck and fully functional truss rod. The electronics operate as intended.
All finish, parts, and solder appear to be original, except for the frets and the nut. A 1/2" access channel was routed in the pickguard/body for the truss rod nut. The original finish on the back of the neck has been worn to a dull sheen.
In excellent condition, this Jazzmaster has various nicks, dings, and scratches, which are documented in the photos. There is a small chip in the rosewood next to the nut that has been glued back in place.
The original tremolo arm, and a correct 1963 blonde offset case is included to complete this superb package.
At ATB Guitars, we offer vintage guitars that meet high standards of quality and authenticity. This 1963 Fender Jazzmaster, with its rare custom color and fine playability, is a valuable addition to any collection.
