1965 Fender Kingman Acoustic - Natural incl. orig. case
Rare 1965 Fender Kingman Acoustic in Natural finish, all original and in absolutely mint condition. Fender started their acoustic guitars in 1962, desiged by then new employe Roger Rossmeisl. Their top-of the line model was the Fender "King" which was renamed in 1965 to "Kingman", which gained most popularity when Elvis Presley became one of their most famous players. Mahagony dreadnought body with spruce top and aluminum support rod thru body, which was typical for Fenders acoustic guitars back then. Nice and comfortable to play wide maple neck with rosewood fretboard and 21 frets which are in excellent shape. The mahagony body has this beautiful rich color as red poorfiller has been used before painting, similar as on Les Paul bodys. The playability and action is great, the guitar has a very bright, warm chiming tone. Comes in original black chipboard case with original Fender Instruction Manual.
