Fender / Musicmaster Bass / 1978 / Black / Bass For Sale
1978 Musicmaster bass. Apparently popular with the ladies, or people who do not have long fingers as it is ridiculously easy to play..!
The shorter 30-inch scale length not only makes it more comfortable to play for extended periods but also contributes to its distinctive sound profile. This scale length is favoured by many bassists for its ease of playability and unique tonal characteristics, offering a punchy, focused sound that cuts through any musical mix with clarity and precision.
Equipped with a single pickup configuration, the Musicmaster Bass delivers a straightforward yet versatile range of tones. The single pickup design is known for its simplicity and purity, capturing the essence of classic bass tones from the late '70s era. This setup allows players to dial in a variety of sounds from deep, resonant lows to clear, articulate highs, making it suitable for a wide range of musical genres.
Factory black, this one has been fitted with an EMG pickup which is a worthwhile upgrade for these and it may have had another pickup fitted at some stage too judging from the pickguard. Well set up and plays without effort with a deep powerful tone.
Original parts and finish. Original frets are in good condition and it comes with a non original, hard shell case which will protect it well, in fact it is a very strong case!
We do not normally get these in so this may be a bit of a bargain...
