This is a real rarity in the collector market, a genuine 1st year production Nocaster Relic from this early period that rarely come up for sale, its Butterscotch finish is stunning w/just the right amount of wear & patina, its maple neck is crazy cool loaded with tons of Birdseye all over the fingerboard & the front of the headstock, its Black Bakelite has some cool texture & realistic wear to its finish, a little wear all over including its Kluson tuners & bridge assembly, it’s a low 3 digit serial # & will certainly be one of the most collectible “Smith” era “Relics” ever, it includes its Certificate dated Decenber 1996 signed by John Page & a few other pieces of case candy with its original brown strap, very clean & all original & comes with its original center pocket Tweed hard case.
