This is the coolest late 70’s Precision Bass we’ve had that was completed new in 1982. This was a regular occurrence whilst Fender had an abundance of necks made in the late 70’s that wound up on basses completed as late as 1982. Its got a fabulous ultra light Alder body w/a clean & original Olympic White finish w/almost no wear. Its Maple neck is dated by serial # to 1979 & has been dated May 5th, 1982 on its heel, she has very little wear overall she’s fabulous lookin ! Its got a clean Black pickgard loaded w/its original pickup & pots. She weighs in at 8 lbs. 12 oz. & has everything you’d want in an untouched all original 38 year old P Bass. These have a very unique tone quality. It’s truly Near Mint overall & comes in a new sturdy soft padded square case.
