1953 Fender Precision Bass - Blond
All original 1953 Precisison bass in great conditon for its age. This is how it all started, the first version of Fenders electric bass who started in 1951. All parts are original, the finish has faded to a darker blond, the bakelite pickguard is pretty warped, but has no cracks. Ligtweight and comfortable to play, even though this bass has a huge(!) neck. This bass has been extensively featured with many detailed pics in the book "Fender Precision Basses" by Detlef Schmidt and in the german magazin "Bass Professor" (both copys will be included). The bass comes in a new G&G Reissue of an early 50s Precision case.
