Very cool & completely original P Bass from both 1958 & 1959, its 3-tone Sunburst finish has slight fade but still shows quite brilliantly, its maple neck is beautiful having a full sized “C” shape & is dated 2/59, its alder body is dated 12/58 in the pickup pocket, its Gold anodized pickgard is excellent overall while its original split coil pickup is super powerful, both pots date to the 7th week of 1958, truly this is a pure 1958 bass having been completed by February 1959, it is all original & in quite excellent shape showing mostly some back buckle wear, it comes with a later 70’s moilded hard case.
