Fender / Precision Bass / 1960 / Lake Placid Blue / Bass For Sale

Here’s another cool 1960 Precision Bass at a very affordable price point in great shape. Its now wearing a thin Lake Placid Blue refinish over a very lightweight grainy ash body. Its rare early Slab Rosewood neck has a factory pencil date from 11/60. It seems like the original decal but had some clear overspray at some point. It’s wearing a repro green’gard that pulls this all together. It’s loaded w/a cool recent cloth world vintage split pickup having that vintage “Smooth Jameson” & “killer Funk” tones ! Pots are recent. It’s still sporting its original tuners to its serial #’d back plate to its threaded saddle bridge. It plays & feels excellent. She’s lightweight at only 8 lbs. 8 oz. She’s excellent overall having the best of both worlds, an Ash body/Slab neck combo & comes w/a decent generic case.
