Here’s another cool early-60’s Precision Bass w/some unusual changes in nice shape, its had its original sunburst finish removed from its Alder body & clear coated to make a nice smooth satin feel. Its ultra rare figured maple neck has a Slab Rosewood fingerboard & has a factory pencil date from 9-22-61 that’s worn smooth w/lots of play time over the years. It’s wearing an original tortoise’gard that pulls this all together. Its now loaded w/a set of Seymour Duncan PJ pickups having that vintage “Smooth Jazz” & “killer Funk” tones ! It’s still sporting its original tuners to its serial #’d back plate to its tight threaded saddle bridge. It plays & feels excellent. She’s very good overall having killer tone qualities & comes w/a decent generic case.
