1965 L series pre-CBS Fender P Bass in original Olympic White and very nice it is too.
Original finish both on body and neck is in great shape with just a few dings here and there. Main issue is the control cavity has had a slight enlargement at one end, possibly for a battery? who knows. Also, even though all electrics - pickups, pots cap etc are original, a lot of the solder joints have been disturbed so I guess someone installed something in there at some stage, probably a boost circuit or similar.
All hardware looks to be original, except maybe the pickguard but I do not get a lot of basses through these parts so if I have missed anything, do let me know, as I am sure you will :-)
Superb sounding, very light and a really great player with original frets in great shape and original case too.
I do not think you will find many pre-CBS Custom colour P Basses out there at this price with the original finish...
