This is the 1st full year of the now Post-CBS era Precision Bass, it has its original Candy Apple Red Metallic finish over a very lightweight Alder body, its Rosewood Dot neck is dated May 1966, its sporting a nice looking white pickgard that pulls this all together, its split Pickup is super smooth w/that quintessential “Jamerson” funk tone !, its pot date codes are from the 32nd & 34th weeks of 1966, it plays & feels incredible, she’s excellent overall, priced quite affordably & comes in a nice generic case.
