This is a STUNNING and 100% original in every way 1969 Fender Precision bass in Custom Colour Candy Apple Red in excellent condition and sounds superb with classic 60’s Precision growl.
Everything is 100% original, all solder joints are intact. All finish is straight, no touch ups etc and no breaks, repairs or routes, just some dings here and there and some edge wear which is what you would expect on a guitar this age. Frets are in excellent shape and I beleive it has been flat wound fitted fror most of it’s life which woud explain the lack of any real fret wear.
VERY LITTLE FADE - Candy Apple Red is not a finish that wears well but this is an exception, it has not faded or turned grren or bronze, it is still vibrant and bright just as it left the factory. Look at the neck too - virtually no finish fade on that either.
100% original in every way, not a thing changed, all original solder joints on pots dated 1966. A stunning example...
It plays very well and has the classic sound that you have heard on many famous recordings - it also looks really cool too!
Included is a non original hard shell case.
This is a very nice example that plays well and sounds classic. I do not usually sell basses so trade me a nice vintage 6 string that I can understand… :-)
