This is one of the coolest & cleanest early 70’s Precision Basses we’ve had that is an unusual optioned bass. Its got a fabulous alder body w/a clean Sunburst finish w/only slight play wear. Normally paired w/its Maple neck companion, this one sports a fabulous feeling Rosewood neck which appears a bit more elegant & is dated September 1972. She has very little wear overall & she’s really fabulous lookin w/its super clean Tortoise pickgard loaded w/a newer pickup & pots, but she has its original dated pickup & pots dated to the 39th week of 1972 in its case pocket. She has everything you’d want in an untouched all original 49 year old P Bass including both its pickup & bridge covers. Having an Alder body w/a Rosewood neck she has a very unique tone quality. Other than its 1st owner engraving their S.S. # on the back plate, she’s truly near mint overall & comes in an original hard case.
