Fender / Precision Bass / 1975 / Original Sunburst / Bass For Sale
This is a nice one, a great Precision Bass from 1975, before things got bad…
This well played example is a real testament to the ethos of the P Bass, no thrills but all the warm woody tone you could ever ask for. The neck is a super comfortable medium C shape, and at 4.46kg its not the heaviest either.
Its got its fair share of battle scars, with the usual dings and scratches around the edges that you’d associate with a nearly 50 year old guitar. On the back there’s some buckle rash, but again certainly no more than you’d expect for a well used guitar of this sort of age.
The neck has got that lovely, well played feeling on the back which so many players appreciate and the frets are in good shape so it is a nice one to play too.
Electronics are all correct, with the pots dating to week 43 of 1973. The pickguard has been changed and the pickguard screws have all been replaced with wood screws, but otherwise this bass is all correct.
The bass comes with a non original hard shell case.
Grab yourself a great example of how good those 70’s CBS Fenders can really be…
