4388.STRATOCASTER “The Jimi Hendrix” Tribute Limited Edition New Old Stock, 1997, Olympic White finish, Maple cap neck, this was a limited run made “lefthanded” in all respects but set up for right handed players, factory Lefty tremolo, Hendrix embossed on the 4 bolt neck plate, what makes this Strat so special is if you put on the guitar to play righty & stand in front of a mirror it appears in the mirror you are watching yourself playing as a lefty with the Fender logo in the correct legible direction, but in fact everything on the guitar is completely backwards to all of us…that was quite an idea they pulled off, this essentially is an NOS guitar as I bought it new in 1997 & it still wears its plastic covering on the pickgard along w/the Hendrix sticker, its mint w/all paperwork & case candy inside its original black hard case. $3500.
