This is a very interesting design by Fender that went way beyond their comfort zone at the time when CBS bought the Company, its Natural finished Spruce top has some cool patina & 1 nicely repaired top crack, its Mahogany back & sides are super solid yet having some deep weather checking all over, its original multi laminated Cream pickgard, its multi ring sound hole & its pretty rosewood bridge make this into a very high line guitar, from its ingenious headstock design to its inner body metal tone bar were so futuristic for its time, an historic artifact or a user friendly guitar…she’s kind of cool for an affordable price, she plays incredible !, very good overall & comes with its original Black/Yellow lined Hard Case.
