Fender / Standard Stratocaster / 1997 / Lake Placid Blue / Guitar
For offer is my 1997 Fender USA American Standard Stratocaster guitar in Lake Placid Blue. The guitar is to the best of my knowledge completely stock, but considering it's 15 years old it is in remarkably good condition.
The neck appears unmarked and plays beautifully, it's maple finished fingerboard is unchipped and the frets show very little sign of wear - only a small amount in the "cowboy chord" positions.
The body is well finished and only has a couple of small hairline scratches to the rear of the guitar - too small to photograph. The colour of the lacquer is best seen in the "natural light" photos I've included.
3 ply W/B/W scratch plate, and all electrics are fully working and crackle free. Trem arm included. The strap buttons are schaller straplocks and I'll include the relevant "strap ends" for the buyer.
The case (as pictured) is a Fender moulded fitted case, and this appears to have suffered over the years (but at least that means that the marks aren't on the guitar!) - it's fully functional, all catches work, but the outer moulded black plastic parts are rather cracked and damaged. Basically the case has done what it's meant to do and protected the guitar well - and it will continue to do so for years yet!

POSH Guitars, UK
Philip's Old Second Hand Guitars (POSH Guitars) Has arisen not only out of my indefatigable enthusiasm for all things wooden with strings, but also from my love of music and creativity.
I firmly believe in a Creator God , who in his creativity gave us a gift. That gift being music, and in our expression of music we give voice to our passion for God.
I am not a company, but I buy guitars of a high quality, use them for a while and then sell them on. Sometimes this allows me to make a small profit, and I shift that profit on into financing the supply of quality instruments for Christian Musicians who are actively working in a recognised Church fellowship.
In this regard I'm happy to announce that Harvey Gerlitz has allowed me to distribute his Guitar Care Products in the UK, and hopefully through these establish a finance base to expand this mission.
In addition to resourcing Christian worship and creativity, 10% of any profits will be automatically passed on to financing Christian work in Africa, building orphanages to care for the victims of the AIDS epidemic there.
All items purchased will be despatched within 24 hours of received payment. Postage in the UK is by First Class postage, outside the UK it's by Air Mail.
