Fender / Starcaster / 1976 / Mocha Brown / Guitar

This 1976 Starcaster is in great condition, it was played but not abused. The Mocha body finish is in good shape with almost no wear on the front, and moderate belt buckle scratching on the back, although not all the way through the finish. There are no changed parts apart from the switch tip. The neck has traces of being fitted to a 4-bolt body and the screw holes were plugged and redrilled. Also on the headstock there’s a plugged hole just above the nut, possibly from an aded string retainer. The original frets are barely worn and will be usable for many years to come.
She plays and sounds great, the Wide Range humbuckers combined with the maple semi-solid body construction and 25.5" scale length make for a very deep yet twangy sound that is unique to the Starcaster.
This guitar ships in a modern (non-original) hardcase.
