This is a pretty clean mid-1956 Fender Stratocaster that is perhaps the most desirable era for most Strat lovers, but at a reasonable price point w/a few issues. Its original 2-tone Sunburst finish has some of its black area over-sprayed to cover ding-age & ping-age. Its alder body is dated in the back tremolo cavity 6-56. Its sharp cut V shaped Maple neck is also dated 6-56 but has been refretted & slightly plained down to a flatter radius for those that like that. Lastly its got 1 added string tree & 6 tiny holes filled from perhaps Shaller tuners once installed, but its original single line Klusons are now re-installed. Its original single layer White pickgard is loaded w/3 potent original pickups w/original cloth leads. Its pot codes are dated the 47th week of 1963. Its got an early 5 digit serial # & a clean Spaghetti Logo & what every blues player wants…killer playability & outrageous tone. Featherweight @ only 7 lbs. 9 oz. This is perfect for that guy wanting to spend 1/2 price of an all original Strat to play the hell out of for the next 65 years. She’s Very Good overall & comes in a very beat 60’s Brown tolex hard case.
