1958 Fender Stratocaster - 2-tone Sunburst incl. orig. Fender tweed case
Early 1958 Fender Stratocaster in 2-tone Sunburst, all original and in excellent condition for its age. Actually this early 1958 Strat has all the highly desired features of a ´57 Strat such as the nice 2-tone sunburst color or the extreme comfortable V-shaped neck, since most of the parts where made in 1957: the neck is pencil-dated 12-57 on its end, all Centralab pots are stamped 304.7.23 = 23rd week of 1957, only the body-date in the middle PU-cavity says 2-58! The lightweight alder-body has some minor playwear, mostly on its backside and some minor weatherchecking. Nice lightweight with only 3,35(!) Kg, the original CRL 3-way switch has never been out, all solders are original and untouched! A great-sounding instrument! Incl. original Fender tweed case with red plush lining which is in excellent shape as well.
