Fender / Stratocaster / 1961 / White Refin / Guitar

Stunning 1961 Fender Stratocaster, refinished in Olympic White with no clear coat (like they used to at that time).
This guitar has been beautifully refinished in Olympic White by Angela of Guitar Angel. There is no evidence of additional routing or modifications.
The neck finish is original although it has had a clear overspray. The fretboard has been re-radiused to 12” at some point and refretted with large frets. Tuners and decal are correct. Neck date reads October 1961
The hardware is all correct and shows signs of corrosion. This does not affect functionality.
The plastics are correct aside from the knobs which are aged repros. The pickguard does show signs of having decals or stickers stuck to it.
Electronically the pots and two pickups are correct. The neck pickup is a really good reproduction by someone and the switch is a 5-way. Some wiring has been replaced.
The guitar comes with hardshell case (non original).
This guitar does what you'd expect an early 60's Strat to do. The pickups provide a warm tone across all three positions that run the gamut from full to cutting without getting thin.
This is a great guitar that's been sympathetically refinished to a very high standard that retained all the important features to make it not only a great instrument but a worthy investment for the tone-hound looking for that elusive sound...
