Of all the custom color early strats lake placid blue is most definitely one of my favorites. This piece is very special - 1963 body and neck (body finish restored more than 35 years ago by a Fender employee), early to mid sixtes pickups all rewound by Lindy Fralin, original hardware and tuning machines, Superior refret - medium jumbo, clay dots, some newer plastic and a bone nut. This is the ultimate players guitar and a great way to own an early custom color Strat® for much less than the mega bucks 100% originals go for. A real stunner to look at and play.
