Fender / Stratocaster / 1963 / Guitar

This is a original finish Dakota Red Strat from 1963. not a Fiesta as i mistakenly presumed! It is a great playing and sounding guitar of 3.2kg. It has the most beautiful grained Brazilian rosewood board I've ever seen on a strat.  It weighs under  7 lbs( 3.2 kg) –and is very resonant. All parts are original except replaced pots and a non matching set of pre-cbs pickups, one black bottom pickup obviously not matching with two grey bottom. Dates on the Grey bottom faded but the month 12 is recognizable (same as the neck) The neck has clay dots, and original Kluson tuners. There is no body date which is consistent with the era. The finish is original Dakota red, Nail-holes and white underocoat are visible.  The decal, is original, finish on body and neck are all original, no overspray. Body contour shapes are perfect for the era, neck –joint fit is excellent, the combi of black bottom w/grey bottom, kluson double line tuners, Green nitrate pickguard (in amazing condition) full size shield, 3-way CRL switch and original Trem arm comes with the guitar, saddle, bridge, Kluson tuners, are all consistent with that of late 1963 Stratocaster. serial number is L090xxx,  1963. All dates are consistent. This is a great looking and sounding lightweight original Dakota red strat. only 3.2kg. Not found often!

ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
