Fender / Stratocaster / 1964 / 3 Tone Sunburst / Guitar
1964 Fender Stratocaster - 3-tone Sunburst incl. original black Fender Tolex case
1964 Fender Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst that still has desirable Pre-CBS features such as the green guard and clay dots. It's a higher output guitar with big tone - definitely in line with the top sounding Strats we had so far. This guitar is all original and in very good condition. It has been played so it has some wear and dings and dongs. There are some small cracks on the front of the headstock between the tuner holes - they have been checked by our luthier and are absolutely stable. The guitar is all original with untouched electronics, the neck stamp is 2 OCT 64 B, the pots are dated 137.65.01 (5th week of 1965) the "grey-bottom" pickups have outputs of 6,58K / 5,41K and 5,59K. It's lightweight with only 3,43Kg and the medium C-profile neck shows barely has a great brokin-in feel. Comes in original black Fender tolex case with yellow plush-lining.
