This is probably the finest Olympic White 1966 Stratocaster in existence… This is a STUNNING 100% original 1966 Custom Colour Olympic White Fender Stratocaster with factory larger frets OHSC and tags It is an all original custom colour finish in near MINT condition and I reckon must be one of THE finest 1966 Strats for sale right now.

A largely uncirculated guitar, owned by a respected UK collector for the last 10 years, we are privileged to be able to now offer it for sale here to the public for the first time in a very long while..

Guitar has been checked and black lighted, all finish is totally original and there is no evidence of overspray or repairs. It is near MINT condition and without any doubt at all, I can say it is 100% original and has, from what I can tell, every pice of case candy from 1966 that came with it when new. Even the case is like a museum piece.

There is just a small area of wear on the back (see picture), some fine checking on the headstock and some discolourations on the body that prevent me from describing this as totally mint.

All the pots are dated 1966, pickups are dated 1966, neck is March 66, serial number is 135553 all hardware matches and to be honest the hardware looks like it is barely 6 months old it is just so clean, this is one of the finest guitars we have ever had here! It is fitted with factory original larger frets than normal, I think these were called medium at the time.

This is a ZERO issues, investment grade guitar which has a MINT condition parchment white guard, even the case is near mint. Included is original manual, tag, luggage tag, cloth, ah try cover, them arm strap etc etc. Just have a look at the detailed photos!

Frets are in just about as new condition with hardly any wear and guitar is a real joy to play with a fast neck that has nice C shape medium round profile Weight is a pleasant 3.5Kg
