Fender / Stratocaster / 1968 / Sunburst / Guitar
Not much to say about this really, just that it's probably the cleanest, near MINT 100% original 1968 Fender Stratocaster we've come across in at least 3 years...
Collector grade piece but don't let that fool you, this beauty is also an amazing player with classic bell tones from its all original electrics and pickups etc.
100% original everything.... down to the last screw and solder joint. Also included is the bridge cover, polishing cloth and a nice strap plus of course, the original hard shell case that is also very clean.
There are just a few very small dings here and there that keep this amazing guitar from the mint category plus some small marks left by what looks like a curly lead being left on the top by someone a while ago. But don't let this detract from the amazing shape this stunning guitar is in.
Nice weight of 3.6Kg and neck profile is classic 1968 Strat - slightly C profile, just liked Jimi preferred.
Neck date of April 1968, pots date to 1966 and serial number is 251099 make this a guitar built in mid 69 and left Fullerton more than likely late 68.
Stats from this era are usually pretty used and beat up, I think it will be a long time before we come across another this clean...
