1973 Fender Stratocaster - Olympic White including Tweed hardshell case
1973 Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White finish which has been rocked and rolled! Except for a changed 5-way switch, this 44(!) year old Strat is pretty much original! Over the years, as the finish was worn away, someone resprayed the body in white, even so the original color was Olympic White, which is still visible under the pickguard and in all body-cavities. It once had Schaller tuners, but the original Fender Tuners are back on and the frets have been replaced with Jumbos. The guitar sports an very resonant alder body and a medium size c-shaped maple neck and sounds fantastic! The 3x original staggered "grey-bottom" pickups are all stamped 1973 and have well balanced outputs of N=5,80/M=5,87/B=6,2 K-Ohm. The original pots are stamped 137.73.04 = 4th week of 1973, the neckdate is stamped 22 FEB 73 B. Great feeling, comfortable to play, ultimative Mojo-look! Comes in newer including Tweed hardshell case with orange interior.
